Arne Bredesen, MPhil, is a pastor, currently serving in the West Norway Conference, in Stavanger and Sandnes area.

Arne’s field of interest in theology is primarily the role of paradigms in biblical interpretation. Arne’s theological education started at Belgrade Theological Seminary, Serbia, and continued in the UK, at Newbold College of Higher Education and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

His passion is to make complicated ideas understandable to common people, children in particular. Arne is a strong believer in leadership based on early childhood investment.

He enjoys working with children and youth, especially if his wife Anita and their two daughters Dalia and Lidia are members of the team.

Ján Barna is Principal Lecturer in Systematic and Biblical Theology at Newbold College of Higher Education.

He holds a Master’s degree in Leadership and a PhD in the area of systematic theology from University of Bristol. Jan’s areas of research include topics of salvation, eschatology, ordination of women and hermeneutics.

Jan is married to Ivana and together they raise three children.

Merlin D. Burt, Ph.D. is President/Director of the Ellen G. White Estate, Inc., and a Field Secretary for the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He additionally serves as Research Professor of Church History and Adventist Studies at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University.

He was founding director of the Center for Adventist Research and White Estate Branch office at Andrews University where he served from 2003-2020. From 1993 to 2003, he was director of the Loma Linda University White Estate Branch Office and chair of Archives and Special Collections, Dr. Burt has been with the Ellen G. White Estate since 1993.

He has published books, numerous articles, and chapters and has served as an organiser and speaker at various conferences and symposiums. Before his administrative and academic appointments, he served in the United States as a pastor in Ohio and California.

He is married to Sarah the love of his life for 45 years. They have three married children — two sons and a daughter and six grandchildren. His hobbies include collecting Adventist-related materials and woodworking.

One of his passions is for Seventh-day Adventists to connect God’s leading in the past to a personal living Christian experience.

Kevin M. Burton (Ph.D. Candidate, Florida State University) is the Director of the Center for Adventist Research and Assistant Professor in the Church History Department at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University. He concentrates his research on Millerite and Seventh-day Adventist history, with particular interest in the topics of race, gender, and politics.

He has presented numerous academic papers at conferences and published several journal articles, academic book reviews, and encyclopedia entries. His Ph.D. dissertation explores Adventist political involvement in the anti-slavery movement.

He lives in Berrien Springs, with his wife Sarah, daughter Adelia, son John, and dog Rouge.

Obed Jiménez Vélez was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and was educated within the Adventist system.

He began his formal higher education in Massachusetts and completed his bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a minor in Religion at Antillean Adventist University in Puerto Rico. Later, he continued his studies at Andrews University, where he earned his Master's degree in Religion and PhD in Religious Education in 2010.

Jiménez has dedicated his career to denominational work, serving as an elementary and secondary school teacher, district pastor, university professor, and higher education administrator. In 2010, he was appointed as the 14th President at Antillean Adventist University, a position he held for almost 12 years.

Recently, he has taken on the roles of Director of the White Estate and Director of Spirit of Prophecy in the Puerto Rican Union.

Ivan Milanov (PhD, University of Wales Trinity St David) is a Senior Lecturer in Old Testament Studies. He has been teaching in full-time capacity at undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Newbold College of Higher Education since 2015.

Before his employment at Newbold College, Dr Milanov pastored SDA churches in Macedonia (2000–2003) and Serbia (2011–2015). He also taught Old Testament modules at Belgrade Theological Seminary and Adventist Theological Faculty in Marusevec, Croatia (guest lecturer).

His academic interest are the books of the Old Testament prophets; the books of Daniel and Jonah are his favourite.

Dr Milanov is the husband of Olgica and father of Ivana.

Dragoslava Santrac is the Managing Editor of the Encyclopedia of Seventh-day Adventists – ESDA (encyclopedia.adventist.org), General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, Silver Spring, Maryland.

She earned a PhD in Old Testament from North-West University, RSA/Greenwich School of Theology, UK, and an MA in biblical languages from Andrews University, USA.

Santrac taught at Belgrade Theological Seminary, Serbia, University of the Southern Caribbean, Trinidad, and Washington Adventist University, Maryland. She has authored several books, including “Psalms 76-150,” SDA International Bible Commentary, vol. 6 (Pacific Press, 2022) and the Adult Bible Study Guide on the book of Psalms (1st quarter, 2024).

John Skrzypaszek, DMin, is a retired director of the Ellen White/Seventh-day Adventist Research Centre at Avondale University (2005-2020). In his retirement, John is still involved as an adjunct senior lecturer at Avondale University, focusing on research and writing.

He authored several book chapters and peer review papers and presented at academic conferences in America, Europe and Australia.

He served the church as a Ministerial Secretary, Personal Ministries director and in pastoral evangelism ministry. John is keenly interested in heritage, spirituality, identity and cultural studies. His research explores the relevance of heritage for life's journey in the 21st century.

He is married to Brenda and has two sons, Raphael and Luke. He enjoys sharing practical jokes and golf.

Mxolisi Michael Sokupa, PhD. New Testament, DTh. Church History is an Associate Director of the Ellen G. White Estate at the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He is a liaison for translation of Ellen G. White’s writings in four divisions, ECD, NAD, SID and WAD.

He has served the Seventh-day Adventist church for the past thirty-two years in various capacities such as teacher, pastor, departmental director, university professor. He is a member of the Biblical Research Committee of the General Conference since 2010.

His passion is to make sure that everyone has access to Ellen White’s writings in the language of their preference.

His wife Zanele works for Hope Channel International Inc. at the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. They have been blessed with three children, Sibabalo (daughter), Sinedinga (son) and Saneliso (son).

Alberto R. Timm, PhD (Andrews University), is a specialist in the development of SDA doctrines and theology.

Born in the south of Brazil, Timm worked as a district pastor, director of the Brazilian Ellen G. White Research Center, dean of the Graduate School of Theology of Unasp-EC, rector of the multi-campus Latin-American Adventist Theological Seminary (SALT), Spirit of Prophecy coordinator for the South American Division, and associate director of the Ellen G. White Estate, Inc.

He is currently an associate director the Biblical Research Institute of the General Conference of SDAs. Timm has published extensively in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

He is married to Marly L. Timm, and they have three children (Suellen, William, Shelley) and one grand-daughter (Elise).

Radiša Antić, PhD was born in Sarkamen, Serbia. He began his studies at the Theological Seminary Marusevec in former Yugoslavia, continued his BA and MA studies at Collonges (France) and Newbold College of Higher Education, (United Kingdom). He completed his doctorate at Andrews University, United States in 1991.

He served as pastor/evangelist in former Yugoslavia from 1980-1985, the youth director of South Conference (SEEUC) from 1991-1992, the director and lecturer at Belgrade Theological Seminary (1993-2003), the public relation director (SEEUC) (1994-2003), the president of South-east European Union (1994-2003), the principal lecturer of systematic theology and philosophy at Newbold College of Higher Education (2003-2021), and the director of  the Ellen G. White Research Centre Europe (2003-2021).

At present Radiša Antić is retired and lives in Serbia. As a theologian he is engaged with the questions of the meaning of human life, the systematic theology issues and the topics related to the relationship between philosophy and theology.

Robert Wright spent 7 years in Banking before responding to the call of the Holy Spirit to becoming a part of the Gospel Ministry.

He studied at West Indies College, Andrews University, and Internamerican Theological Seminary. He currently serves NCU as Director of the Ellen G. White SDA Research Center at NCU and as Assistant Professor in the School of Religion and Theology.

He is married to Hillary and they have two teenage sons, Jonathan and Joel.

Łukasz Romanowski is a graduate of University of Lodz, with M.A. in English Literature and Ph.D. on John Donne’s sermons.

After working as assistant professor at the Faculty of International and Political Studies, University of Lodz, having got B.Th. and M.A. in Religion, he moved on to serve as pastor and teacher at the Polish College of Theology and Humanities.

Having spent 7 years at the College as chaplain, he is now busy teaching Adventist history and issues in Ellen White.

His interests range from the Spirit of Prophecy and Adventist theology to psychology and neurolinguistics.
