Newbold College of Higher Education is seeking to appoint roles within the English Language Centre:
Head of English Language Centre
The successful candidate will have:
- an appropriate qualification for teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages [ESOL]
- an appropriate experience as a teacher of ESOL including:
– teacher education and professional development
– ESOL curriculum development
– assessing competence in language acquisition
– research in second language acquisition
The deadline for applications is Friday 15 September 2023.
Sessional Teachers
The successful candidate will be expect to:
- Assess the language competency of students
- Teacher all levels and aspects of an ESOL programme
- Develop appropriate curriculum and learning materials
- Prepare students for English Competency Exams, including Cambridge and IELTS
- Represent Newbold effectively in external and internal relations
