Staffing Update: New Residential Life & Events Manager
As part of our ongoing commitment to good stewardship and the long-term sustainability of the college, we have brought together two further areas of our work: Events & Hospitality and Student Life & Chaplaincy. Combining these departments allows us to serve our students and guests more effectively while making the best use of the resources entrusted to us.
This change has led to the creation of a new role, Residential Life & Events Manager. The postholder will serve and support the wellbeing and spiritual needs of our female students, and will also manage our events and hospitality work, which we see as an important area for future growth and income for the college.

Alongside these developments, we have said farewell to Melisa Razum, who has been part of the college family since 2019. Over these years Melisa has served faithfully across several departments, and we are deeply grateful for her dedication and the contribution she has made to college life. We wish her every blessing and pray for the Lord’s leading as she begins the next chapter of her life and career.
The new role, which calls for a particular combination of skills, was advertised first internally and then externally. Following a full recruitment process, we are delighted to announce that Fernanda Scozziero has accepted the position. Fernanda holds a BA in Tourism and Hospitality and an MBA in Strategic Communication, with substantial professional experience in hospitality management, student services, mission, and events, including six years in the hotel industry and three years serving as a missionary in Iraq.
At Newbold, she previously served as Residential Life and Events Assistant and currently works in Admissions and Records, giving her extensive experience supporting students, managing campus activities and events, and a strong understanding of the College’s community, values, and mission. Please join us in congratulating Fernanda and keeping her in our prayers as she takes up this new responsibility.
The recruitment process for a new Admissions & Records Officer is under way. We hope to make an appointment by the beginning of December, with the transition completed by the start of the new year.
We thank our church community and friends for your continued prayers and support as the college grows and adapts to serve God’s mission.
