Newbold College is developing Newbold Connect, a practice-first digital learning initiative designed to help people integrate Christian faith with the realities of everyday life.
As Newbold approaches its 125-year milestone, Newbold Connect extends the College’s long-standing commitment to discipleship and mission into a digital environment. While Newbold continues its work in ministerial and theological education, this initiative is intentionally designed for the wider church community — for Christians seeking to live their faith with integrity across work, home, relationships and community
Faith, integrated.
Many believers do not struggle with faith in principle — they struggle with faith in practice. Worship can be meaningful, yet the demands of everyday life can feel disconnected.
Newbold Connect is being built to close that gap. It is a place for learning that does not stop at ideas, but moves into habits, decisions, and real-world application — learning that leads to action.
The initiative is being developed around three commitments:
- Practice-first: every class is designed to lead to concrete next steps in real life
- Cinematic craft: high-quality storytelling and production that serve clarity, reflection, and depth
- Trusted oversight: grounded in Newbold College’s academic, theological, and safeguarding frameworks, with senior leadership oversight and quality assurance.
The road to June 2026
Newbold Connect launches live on 27 June 2026, as part of Newbold College’s 125th Anniversary Evening celebration.
The project is currently in active development and is being coordinated by Alex Ghiorzi, working closely with the College’s Senior Leadership Team to ensure the initiative reflects Newbold’s academic rigour, pastoral responsibility, and educational standards.

An Early Access list is now open for those who would like to follow the development of Newbold Connect ahead of the public launch.
Early Access subscribers will:
- receive occasional updates as the platform is built
- be among the first to explore the library as content becomes available
At launch, Newbold Connect will feature a curated library of Classes designed for everyday discipleship. Following launch, the library will continue to grow with new learning experiences added over time.
