Newbold Governors seek to appoint a new Principal
Newbold’s Governors are seeking to appoint the next principal Principal for the College. The new Principal will succeed Dr John Baildam, who announced his intention to retire at the end of May 2022 after working for forty years at the College.
The Governors are looking for a Christ-centred leader who is committed to the teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The successful candidate will serve as Chief Executive Officer of the College, and Secretary of the Board of Governors, having an instrumental role in shaping the outcomes of the Board’s decisions.
Duties will include strategic planning, general administration, budget and finance management, driving recruitment, liaising with community groups and organisations, and fostering links with Adventist educational institutions worldwide.
The ideal candidate will be an inspirational leader with excellent business and people skills and a sound understanding of team building and HR management. They will demonstrate a deep appreciation for the multicultural context of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and have the vision to lead the College into a new era of ministry and mission.
