In March 2020, the paid youth leaders in the Adventist church in southern England were furloughed. The youth programme was led by young people for young people living in diverse cultural backgrounds, most of them in the cities and towns of southern England. They decided to facilitate online discussions of the issues they were facing as Christians entitled, ’No Walls Talks’.
The September Diversity Lecture will feature a discussion of what they talked about and discovered and an exploration of some of the challenges they faced with Newbold ecclesiologist, Dr Tihomir Lazic. Their events sparked a cascade of other local conversations on these topics in many urban church environments where young people attend.
An interactive Q&A will follow the lecture – please note, only registrants to the webinar will be able to submit their questions.
We look forward to seeing you!
