Discover the numerous activities and facilities Newbold has to offer

Keep busy, make friends and enjoy yourself on campus

We know that your time at Newbold will no only be about the high-quality education that you leave us with. It’s also about the experiences you share with your classmates, the quality of the environment, and fundamentally the memories you leave us with. We strongly believe that an environment designed to foster education as well as downtime can have a profound impact on not only the quality of life you can achieve within our walls but also promote a state where every student is primed to learn.

At Newbold, we believe in inspiring you to see the world differently and to experience everything student life has to offer. Balancing studies, work and social experiences are important to us. So, in addition to being a fantastic choice for academic study, the campus offers a variety of activities and facilities to recharge – whether its enjoying a meal together, playing football as a team, reconnecting spiritually or enjoying the benefits of being part of the student association.

Boarding and Accommodation

Living on-campus provides a great social environment and gives you the opportunity to meet lots of new people and make friends from all over the world. Boarding is not the Dickensian image many believe it to be though. Classes, cafeteria, gym, and other facilities are just a few minutes’ walk away!

Campus Ministries

There are numerous spiritual activities and events throughout the week for all tastes and styles of worship. Although they are not mandatory, many students have fed back to us that this is an aspect of the College they truly appreciate, and we are proud to be able to offer it.

Sports

Not only do we have large sports fields where a variety of activities can be undertaken, but our newly refurbished sports hall-auditorium is used for five-a-side football, volleyball, badminton, floorball and basketball.

Opening hours are posted in the sports hall/gymnasium and on other notice boards around the campus. A sports field is also available for students’ recreational use.
