Food tip: 5 a day!
We all know the phrase "5 a day", but do you keep to it? 5 fruits and veg in your daily diet are great for the mind, as well as the body. Think good, feel good.
Book of the week
The Study Skills Handbook by Stella Cottrell
After a long study break, this is the book that’ll blow the cobwebs away, leaving you fresh for the Semester ahead.
Having used this title himself, Alastair shares that The Study Skills Handbooks will help you to formulate the structure of your assignments, and help you prepare generally for upcoming projects, tasks and Semester life.
Bible verse of the week
Psalms 37:5
In light of this new Semester, Alastair has chosen the following biblical verse:
“Commit your way to the Lord,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.”
Alastair loves this verse because it talks about being committed, being led by God and putting’s our lives in God’s hands: “When we commit ourselves and we trust God, we can recognise that God will help us and provide every success that we need.
Exercise tip: burpee!
We've been looking at exercises you can do from home as your study remotely. Today, we challenge you to take it up a notch. Be mobile. Be energised. Burpee!
Song of the week:
