The Roundup – Episode 7
A collective of ideas to inspire you, each and every week.
At Newbold, we believe in the power of Monday motivation.
We’ve just passed the halfway point in September – where did that go?
This week, we look at the notion of “togetherness”. If you’re feeling alone, perhaps overwhelmed, or even just looking for an opportunity to connect with your peers and others around the world, then this is the Roundup for you.
Book of the week
Incredible Answers to Prayer by Roger J. Moreau
Danilo loves books such as this week’s choice: “Incredible Answers to Prayer” by Roger J. Morneau, as they encourage a development in connection with God.
This title reveals the power of prayer through a collection of testimonies, and shares the beauty in praying for others.
During this Semester you may feel stressed, you may be adjusting to this new (for some) way of studying, you might be feeling lonely at times. Small prayer groups are an amazing way to feel supported. Danilo truly believes that smaller prayer groups are “one of the most important lifelines that you can actually have”, in fact, it was transformational for him.
Bible verse of the week
Ecclesiastes 4:12
“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
Danilo finds the meaning of this text so inspiring: your strength is at its peak when you are connected with other people.

Life Groups
This Semester, we have introduced "Life Groups" - a virtual space where you can connect with your peers, with staff members, and those from our wider community. You are not alone - we're all in this together.
Song of the week: "Rescue" - Lauren Daigle
"I will send out an army, to find you in the middle of darkest night, it’s true I will rescue you." Danilo hopes that you will experience God , knowing that He is here to rescue you.
